Bryn joined AAL in 2013 having previously worked as a field archaeologist on both commercial and research excavations including Star Carr (Mesolithic); Noviodunum, Romania (Roman/Byzantine); Cova Gran, Spain (Upper Palaeolithic); and the West Dean Estate, Sussex (Medieval and Bronze Age). He has also carried out occasional supervision of watching briefs. Bryn has a particular interest in environmental archaeology and oversees the Environmental Processing at AAL.
