Francis finished his studies at the University of Exeter in 2018, obtaining a MA with Merit in Experimental Archaeology. Since then, he has pursued his interest in archaeology, attending several field schools and obtaining his first job in commercial archaeology in July 2020, working on sites in Scotland, the Midlands and the South East of the UK.

With a passion for history and the outdoors, archaeology is his ideal job. Knowing that he did not want to be in an office all the time, he enjoys being able to continue to pursue a career in the field with Allen Archaeology, having joined in 2022.
