Joanne caught the archaeology bug young, volunteering at 14 for her first excavation. She has worked in commercial archaeology for nearly 10 years and has been running sites for 6. Joanne has worked on sites across the UK, with a focus on rural archaeology in advance of housing, mineral extraction and infrastructure projects. 

Joanne really enjoys training the new staff and having a large multi-phase site to puzzle out.
