Paul gained his BA in Archaeology and History at Bishop Grosseteste University graduating in 2022. During his studies he took part in excavations on both Roman and Medieval sites, on one of which he was fortunate enough to find a Viking Hnefatafl gaming piece.

Paul joined Allen Archaeology in January 2023 as a Trainee Project Archaeologist. His main area of interest is Anglo Saxon archaeology but also has a long running interest in Colonial American archaeology.
